I subscribe to Car and Driver through Zinio so I can read it on my iPad and iPhone. The Sept issue has some great coupons for HF but there is no way to print them. Anyone know if I can bring the phone in and show them the coupon on the phone?

It appears to work just fine in some stores and a real hassle in others. Just try it and see. If the store is run by a manager that can think, you are good. If not then ......

I've used my blackberry and showed them the online discount price. They would use the numbers below the barcode. Pay the new price and out the door.

They know how widely HFT advertises online, so they will take any coupon their computer accepts. The cashiers are also very used to the bar codes not working; in most stores you could write down the numbers below the bar code, tell them it wouldn't print, and they would take it. I've done it before once or twice.

Go to the slickdeals.net forum thread on HFT to gets lots of printable coupons.

You can take a screen shot of the image on your iPad/Phone and print the screen shot. Press the home button and top button at the same time.

I was trying to use a coupon the other day, and it wouldn't scan because it had expired. The cashier pulled another coupon out of her pocket, scanned it, and put it back in her pocket. By the looks of her coupon, it seemed like she had done this quite a few times.

Thanks Guys. They were happy to take the coupons off the phone, unfortunately the things I wanted were not in stock.

Thanks for the tip Mike, didn't know you could do that.
