hey guys,
im trying to figure out a way to build a platform lift to get some fairly heavy items up to and from 2nd floor of garage, probably in the 800 LB max range.
Need a lifting height of 14'.

I've seen some great ideas here, including the unistrut one, but i can't have a permanent platform sticking out because it would interfere with driving onto the lift.

There are a couple of forklift masts for sale near me, no chassis just the masts.
I want to mount/secure the mast assembly to floor and wall and just place a pallet or fabbed table on forks when I need it.

Do you think its possible to secure it to foundation walls and stick-built wall ?
I realize there would be a lot of lateral pull away from wall, but can it be done ?

A forklift takes up too much real estate, I was looking for an electric/hydraulic stacker lift, but with steel scrap price so high, everyone wants top dollar even
for ****.
Heres a picture of the area, back during construction.
I will be cutting a door into the upstairs wall over the beam right against the sidewall.
Thanks in advance, I really appreciate your input...
