How well does epoxy floor hold up to torching and welding?

I know at our work we do cutting everyday and it ruins the regular cement floor. may have to put some fireproof insulation down.

Does murderous things to concrete... Epoxy can't be good.

Not well at all. Molten steel does bad things to most surfaces. Even Weldsale tables need to be milled occasionally to be kept nice.

I wouldn't use a cutting torch over epoxy or any floor I cared about, but welding is fine:

As previously stated. Some welding is fine. Getting heavy slag on epoxy is not good. This is when a clear coat comes in handy. Just scuff up any burn marks and reclear.
