Using VIM stubby torx sockets with a impact driver?

I just picked up a set of the VIM stubby torx sockets to remove the T30 torx bolts that attach the stator to the engine cover on my motorcycle. Can anyone tell me if these sockets will hold up to occasionally using them with a hand held impact driver.

I have that set but I don't use them with an impact. I do use them with my Milwaukee ratchet. Like any socket I'm sure once or twice won't really hurt. The VIM stubbies are pretty strong for what they are but they are only 1/4". Do what you have to do but be careful.

Some of them are impact rated, I know my 3/8 drive stubby torx are. Most any product will survive occasional hand impact driver use.

I’ve destroyed a few Torx bits with impact drivers. Twisted just enough they won’t bite!
