I did a search for this but nothing came up, maybe I didnt use the right terms.
Im wondering where everyone gets their owners manuals online at when they buy a used tool on ebay and garage sales?

I know there has to be a trustable site somewhere but when I google the net searching for it I get a lot of really shady web sites that want to down load stuff to my computer before I can see the web site.

For specifics, I bought a Cornwell ES-C595 multi-meter and would love to get the manual for it. It also came with an amp clamp a remote starter and an ir thermometer. It has the cable to hook up to a computer (like the early 90's printer cable) but no cd, no manual. :dunno::eyecrazy::dunno:

Start at the manufacture's website... they usually have them available for download.

^^ this. More and more manufacturers are making their manuals available as pdf files. The trick is having the right model number, and being a bit flexible & clever in the searches.

As a Canadian I often run into model number sequences being different here than in the US. Some internet scouring helps.
