Hello All,
I am an avid vintage tool collector and new to this forum.
I am looking for help with Identifying a pair of Utica pliers.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The "B" in the part number indicates a special order tool, as the back also states. I would guess it's for phone lines. I have a couple of similar pliers in my collection.

Back then, Utica would make special order pliers built to a customers specs, or to do a specific task, whatever the customer wanted. So the true use for these pliers will probably never be known, unless someone happens to remember using a pair of these. I can say that they were built prior to 1962, when they moved to South Carolina, because they are stamped Utica,NY.
