Utica torque wrench?

Picked this up a few days ago, thought it was fairly interesting. Not too familiar with Utica tools, but I'm a sucker for American made stuff. Wrench cleaned up very well, and has a nice dual pawl mechanism in the head.

Anything special about the wrench? Any guesses on an age?

I can't tell you about the torque wrench, but I do know that Bell Systems and Bell Labs used a lot of their tools. My grandfather worked for Bell Labs as an electrical engineer and that was how I was introduced to the brand at home. I love their pliers, they have a narrow nose that gets into tighter spots than other brands. Utica = quality.

I like the wrench, need to check it and see how accurate it is...not sure its worth sending out to be calibrated, but would still like to see if its accurate.

JakeMac ftw. Bell Labs was associated with quality tools and outstanding industry leading engineering. That particular torque wrench was used to torque "waffle" cases for the most part in manholes to prevent water intrusion.
I have one......still on the money 20+ years later. Quality SS construction.

Edit: Could be chromed. I never had rust on it. Ever.
