I had a "wonderful" day at work, only to come home to find the power off for the last 3 hours! 
Provider first question is, "Are you sure its not your Breaker?"
YEP, I'm sure its your Fuse on the Pole!
Guy shows up almost an hour later, I meet him at the road to point at the fuse.
He goes up and brings down the pieces. It seems the fuse had blown some time ago and between the carbon track from previous blown fuses and the never ending rain.
We have been running on the fiberglass housing till it finally failed today! 
I told him I noticed the lights flickering while the stove was on in the storm the other night. But I chalked that up to Bad Weather!
