Thank goodness for the 20% coupons. Otherwise, it would be a bit out of my price range.

Interesting that if it were solid gold it would be market price. Maybe HF is better errr more valuable than the collective opinion.

It looks like the Irwin utility knife!!! Dad bought me an Irwin one for Christmas one year. Don't really like it. Prefer the 20 year old Stanley 10-099 that I carried at the lumberyard.

You guys laugh but that knife is worth the price. When they say "Utility" they aren't kidding. That one tool will replace every other tool you have. Sure some of you who may not own $10k worth of tools may still find this tool pricey but just think of how nice it would be to have one tool that can do everything! :thumbup:

Man I thought I got a great deal at the auction today. This has to be an all time great deal. Going go buy a lottery ticket so I can afford a few of these knives.

At 9999.99 this is the most expensive item HF sells.

It is probably "in store pickup only" because they are worried about insuring it if it ships via common carrier. They would have to get a policy from Lloyds of London on the shipment.
