I did a search about utility or service carts and read all that was there. I'm also looking for just a plain open cart that I can use for laying tools on or moving parts around. Has anyone bought the new Craftsman Heavy Duty Plastic (009 59733 or 00959732) Utility Cart? Are they sturdy? If not what are my options?

The Craftsman is like the Rubbermade carts. Sturdy and will take abuse. Easy to throw the Lisle mag holders and screwdrivers in and push around the garage. You pretty much spill anything on it or in it and it cleans up.

Doesn't like flame though!!!:shocking:

we use the rubbermaid ones and i am a believer now.........the **** and abuse they go through have made believers out of us.............we gave them 2 mos. and years later the wheels are finally stating to fail...........and i disagree, they like flames about the same as any other plastic............just ask our welders...............

I just bought the Astro Pneumatic plastic utility cart & am real happy with it. It is sturdy and rated for 300 lbs which I believe it will do between the 2 shelves. Works good for putting tools/parts on to work under a vehicle on the lift or for just moving things around with.
