This question refers directly to the thread by Skullhead where he framed in for doors on utility shelves with 1"x2"s... Obviously I'm looking to do up a couple sets this weekend and have got a couple questions before I get to it.
Were washers/spacers used for fastening the 1"x2"s to the outside of the L-shape legs to clear the tabs for the shelf brackets? I thought about going the route that was in Workbench magazine, with separate doors and all, but I want to have the ability to change the shelf clearances down the road.
So if Skullhead or anyone can shed some light I'd greatly appreciate it, or if there are some other ways I'm all ears. Great site by the way, I've been lurking for a few weeks and have picked up a lot of ideas as I'm in the middle of a garage renovation.
