Was at my mothers today. Dad had a 16’ or so cargo trailer. It became a catch all for storage. Since his passing it’s become neglected. It needs a new skylight vent and also needs some sealant around it and over the rivets down the side.

What would you recommend? Is their a tape like product?

Appears I can just slide a new skylight on the hinge but all the exposed rivets worry me.

The tap-like product you're asking about is probably EternaBond RoofSeal tape. (I'm sure there are other knock-off brands)

I know I'm late to the party, but Fiberglass tape and roofing tar worked for me (after a great deal of previous failures. The tape stuff lasted a month. Silicone was okay.
