v18 charger question

does anybody know if the 18 li ion/nicd -28 volt li ion 48-59-2818 charger will charge nimh battery packs correctly?

I am pretty sure they will charge all of the battery packs. Milwaukee will make it so they won't work with the charger if they are not supposed to be charged on it.

Did the instructions list any charging restrictions?

the 18 li ion/nicd -28 volt li ion 48-59-2818 charger charges at 3.5 amps and the 48-59-0255 charger that i got with my circular saw charges at 2.7 amps

well i used it once or twice and imax expert 3.3 ah the batteries are still going strong.

and it also charges up aftermarket milwaukee 14.4 voltnimh battery packs too.

I'm not sure which charger I have, the label is long gone, but it came with the V18 lithium ion kit. I have both lithium and nicad batteries and it charges them correctly. Personally I preferred the nicad batteries because they didn't "trip", requiring you to take them back to the charger to reset them any time you put a serious load on them. That was a constant frustration of mine with that kit.

Edit: I looked up the part # and it appears to be the same charger as mine.
