You might try looking in a current VACO catalog to see if they are still available and who stocks them, but baring that, eBay or getting lucky at a garage type sale.

I had a set of those little things but I sent them down to Don. He knows about Vaco.
The company was sold to Klein years ago.

Here are the posts about BK’s generous donation of the Vaco set that appeared in my thread showing my basement tool collection.
Thanks. I accidentally forgot to add this cute little Vaco set sent to me recently by four.cycle. It is a perfect addition to the Nutdriver display. Thanks, BK!

As some members are aware, I have a bit of a thing about nutdrivers. Here are a couple sets I cleaned up a bit and added to the nutdriver section of the display.

From every set I have seen, they all look to be the same or very very close. Even the old asian knock offs looked to be the same, just a different handle material (and quality level).

check ebay ... used the "advanced" search feature so you narrow the search parameters so you're not looking at all kinds of stuff: just search "VACO" and "US only" and that should narrow it down enough. I wouldn't select "used" because there will be NOS stuff on there as well.

Are you particular about them being Vaco brand or do you just want them as users? They can often be found at estate sales, garage sales and flea markets. To try to fill out sets on eBay requires quite a bit of patience and will end up being expensive. Rarely do I source nutdrivers from eBay unless it’s an old rare one I need to fill out a particular set. 🤑 I have a drawer full of Vaco tools but just not any of the ones you need.

and yes, buying onesie-twosies on ebay to fill holes in sets can get crazy expensive.
I recently shelled out $14 for a tiny wrench to complete a set of magneto wrenches.
you just have to run the same search over and over and over and be patient.
and don't click "buy now" - just put it on "watch list" and wait for the seller to make an offer. sometimes they will, sometimes they won't, but if it's crazy money (like that wrench I mentioned above), wait them out - you have the upper hand as the buyer on this one because what you're looking for is definitely NOT "high demand" item - not like you're looking for a WWII vintage Plomb 5/16" socket or something like that.

IMHO these small Vaco nutdrivers are worth their weight in gold. The thin walls get into confined areas where others fail. They offer sizes in increments of 1/32" and usually come with an add on torque multiplier handle. Get metric and SAE sets when ever you see them. These little guys have saved my **** many times.

I agree. My late brother gave me these as a gift decades ago. There are certain jobs where they are either the best or only option.23F3A391-330B-495F-B74C-62F466F2B45F.jpeg

;)
first one is a "Duro Indestro" - not what I'm after.
second one is beat to hell.
third one is a war vintage Duro Chrome ("Circle X") - not what I'm looking for, but thank you. ;)

right wrench, wrong condition. ;)
one I'm looking for will be marked "Indestro Super" in plain block letters (not italicized), plain shank, polished head

Quick side question how do you personally pronounce it?
Va-co or Vac-o?

It’s always nice to complete sets.
Speaking of Vaco, I received a set of unusual clutch head drivers as part of an early X-mas gift/care package. They will be joining their Vaco cousins in the basement display. I cleaned them up a little. Here are before and after pictures.

That’s a good guess. I’ve seen quite a few clutch head screws but none in the style of these drivers. All of mine are type G. They will be added to these in the nutdriver display. 👍
