Curious how many received tools or garage related stuff and thought I'd start a tread.
A little back story first. A friend of my wife has a close family friend who is up in the years and was walking up her steps and using flower pots as a hand rail. This can be a little scary, especially when they get slick in the winter. Well after building a rail, the friend was talking about how scary the basement was, so I said let's take a look. Wife's friend wanted to see if the generator in there was worth getting out. Once we went inside I could see some tools and a few odds and ends. Most of it was picked through a few years ago after the husband died.
So as I'm walking though the basement, I see this old General Electric power box. I thought it was pretty cool and would make a nice cabinet in a garage.
Well low and behold, my wife ended up buying it for me after I talked about it for a few days. It's been painted once and has some spray paint as well. Measures 22"high, 14 wide, and 9"deep. Not sure what I'll do with it, but I may make it a mini bar or a charging stations for the power tool batteries.
