Valley brand wreches

So I was working on a homemade chain holder for my tractor the other day and ran into a situation where an angled 9/16 wrench would have been a real life saver. I completed the project but it sure wasn't easy.

Later that night I hopped on Ebay and searched for SAE angle wrenches hoping to find a good deal on an old USA set.

Didnt have any luck but I did come across a set of imports SAE 3/9"-1". Valley brand part # WR11AFS1. $31.95 with free shipping.

Considering the fact that I've made it this long without any SAE angle wrenches I probably dont actually need them but at that price how can you say no? If I use them once every 10 years they've paid for themselves.

Never heard of Valley tools. Complete junk?

Well I ordered a set figuring I'd just send them back if they were awful. Got them today.

They seem serviceable for what little I'm likely to use them. Remind me of early 2000's Pittsburgh quality. Think I paid $32. That's about their worth. They did come in a fairly nice tool roll.

I'll keep them for odd and ends projects but if I was planning on using them even semi regularly I'd send them back
