I found someone selling about 240 Bonney sockets for $60 is that a good price? I see some of them going for a few bucks a piece on eBay. I’d like to have some extra Bonney sockets, but I don’t want to pay a premium.

Thanks for the input

A quarter apiece for like-new that's a steal deal.

If they're from a Bonney collector who's weeding out all his peeling-chrome-beat-to-****-on-an-impact-gun rejects, you wouldn't want them as a gift.

Bottom line - if one is into Bonney, $60 isn't a huge investment and there are probably some jewels in there.

I don't understand. If you're looking for users, 25 cents per socket is a terrific deal. As jack said it would also be a steal for collectibles, but based on the way they're packaged, the chrome, the shape and look, and the price, those appear to be relatively modern Bonney, not vintage collectibles.

From the looks of it picture those appear to be the last generation Bonney sockets. I used my Bonney sockets and tools from 1983 to 2017 when I retired and the sets I have were the last generation set. They are strong durable and that is a great price for the number of sockets that you are thinking about getting. Think about it and the fact that you can the Chinese sockets for a comparable price but the thing is will the Chinese sockets last a lifetime of daily usage, I highly doubt but I do know even after years of use of the USA made Bonney's you get your money's worth out of those sockets. If I did not have duplicates of all my modern Bonney sockets I grab those in a minute. I should say the last of the Bonney tools was in the early 1990's and they are no longer produced.
