UPDATE: Value of another Craftsman Block Grinder
OK so now that I have found out that I need a Craftsman block grinder as well to ad to my stable I came across this guy. Way overpriced at the moment in my opinion, but I am working to calibrate my values here. Things I noticed off the bat. Missing wheel end covers, missing tool rests, eye shields are not original, and I think it looks like the wheel guard on the left has been cut, and the whole painting over the label things as well. I have been thinking about a grinder dedicated to using for just wire wheels, so the missing covers and cutaway wheel guard does not bother me so much, just trying to gauge what this thing would actually be worth maybe $10-20 dollars? What do you guys think?
Update: 6/4/2015:
So this guy just popped up on my local Craigslist this morning let's here what you have to say about this one!
"Antique 1/3 HP Model 397 Sears Craftsman Bench Grinder. Great vintage / steam punk light attached. Awesome old tool. Worked last time it was used, but that was several years ago. Don't know much about it, but it should be good to go."

He fires it up, gives it a good go and starts to hand it to me so I can give it a try. Needless to say, all eyes were on us. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Since then, I am a bit more careful about where i meet people.
Say it isn't so !
