Value of Craftsman/Waterloo box?

Moved up to one of the larger Menards boxes. Anyone have input on what price I should be asking for my older Craftsman combo? Looks like made by Waterloo. 27” wide, 54” high with top closed, 18” deep.

Prices vary based on location. Plus the virus though I see lots on OfferUp selling. And figure do you want it gone or willing to wait 2 months?

I'd say roughly $200-400 based on how the above fits in for you. Some people really love Craftsman grip latch. I never liked it. Don't see the other colors much either...

Just sold a 41" Top, Bottom and Middle box Made in 2001 not as pretty as that one for $350

There is that exact same box on Craigslist here in NJ that has been on for awhile at $350. Not the clearest photos but looks very similar condition to yours.

2. They are a premium model
3. I'd be looking to restore them.

I live close to the factory so I can source the actual paint they use. (Val-Spar brand) As well as parts.

I love these griplatch setups, but can’t find the sliders anymore, do you have a source for them?

Around here they are gone in about a week at $250, anything over $300 and they sit. I have this same setup in black, with the middle 4 drawer chest too, wouldn’t give it up for anything.

Contact Stanley Black and Decker on Facebook. Ask them for the number to Waterloo's parts division. They should be able to hook you up. Cost wise, idk how much itll be.

Having just bought a Craftsman box, after a lot of shopping, thats about a $200 box around here.

I just bought a 41" ball bearing Waterloo/Craftsman top and bottom with side shelf for $400.

Just bought a new bottom from Lowe’s. Looks pretty much the same, but in Red.

Had a dent in the lower rear so it was on clearance for $125. Can’t see the dent unless you move it away from the wall and get on your knees.

Not the same as the old grip latch boxes.

The one you got from Lowes, does it have the soft close drawers?

Ha! that's funny. I'm OK with that actually, I got what I thought was fair in about 3 days. I bought it new and I'm pretty sure it didn't cost $550.
