No warranty on box. I have 2 one needs paint can't sell at 750 other needs the new bearings installed can't sell at 1500 the second one is a mb8100 basically same box

What does "needs repaint" mean? Like lots of surface rust or just looking a bit dull? Sounds like lots of work. $450? :dunno:

Dull,dirty, faded. Looks like it was stored in a wet basement. Rust might become more apparent once the cleanup starts. Definitely lots of work.

That is one thing you really have to consider with a used box. Yes it might be a name brand box, but I'd much rather have a new HF44" or the like compared to a completely worn out truck box. You can sink alot of time and $ into redoing an old box. If you just enjoy the old boxes like I do. By all means go ahead, but if it is just another tool box, well. As Warmpancakes said, used boxes technically carry no warranty. If your driver is gracious, you might get some parts, but there is no legal obligation on their part. Replacing bearing slides on your own dime gets expensive very fast.

The box originally listed for $3960 at its age and condition it's probably worth 500 to the right buyer. Value is only determined by what the customer is willing to pay!
