Value of Sioux model 655 valve grinder

My farmer neighbor that I work for part time has a Sioux 655 valve grinder that he wants to sell.
Any idea on the value of these things?
It is dirty but the stones are in good shape.
The thing is really heavy. takes 2 guys to lift it.

don't know anything about different models, but I see them on my local cl for 300-400ish...

That the older style one, they are not worth as much and do not grind as well as the later ones like the 680
The last one like that I had I sold for $150 in decent shape
Be sure it has the stone dresser with it and the holder for holding the valve to dress the tip of the valve
Frankly the valve refacer is not worth as much as the valve seat grinder. The seat grinding system is more usable as you can always buy new valves but the valve grinder alone isint worth squat if you can't grind the seats

^^^What he said. I'd also add that many (most?) of the older grinders are just plumb worn out. Grinding valves is a pretty precise operation and those grinders almost never were cleaned decently. Ive rebuilt several that had significant runout.
