What would you offer for a used (looks barely used) Wright 3/4" socket set # 631.

Local pawn shop has a set and I want to know what a reasonable price would be. Sockets are 7/8" to 2 3/8" with ratchet, some extensions and accessories.

I would go $200 on it as well. Sets like that are well over a $1,000 new, but their resale simply *****. Not too many guys buy those new, shops and other business do. Many people simply have no use for them.

My dad has that set with a diffrent ratchet. He got his for around 12.00 in the 50s. He was in the army. He almost didnt buy them because it cost 15.00 to ship them home.I would love to have them. I use his all the time the handle on the box is to small it fills like it is going to cut your fingers off. The ratchet his has is indestructable. I have had a 10foot cheater on it.

I just paid $145 for the ratchet and $109 for the breaker bar new so yeah. Sounds like you could get a deal. Wright definatlly makes good stuff. I was tired of blowing up tawainess/china ratchets and breaker bars

Nice find on the set I bet you will be hard pressed to break the breaker bar if you pick the set up.
