Well I am changing out some valve springs tonight on a SS trailblazer. My buddy bought a cam kit for it and the guy that was doing it for some reason doesn't want to change out the valve springs. Me to the rescue!!!

Anyways, I have done these on older chevy's, nothing newer than 94. Is there anything I should be worried about/need a special tool for, etc. on this newer engine style (should be an LS2)?

They still have keepers right?

Let me know.

Agreed, LS1tech is awesome.

There's nothing fancy under the valve covers. The rockers unbolt and springs have 2-piece retainers on the tip of the valve stem. There's no adjustment or anything, I guess because it's a hydraulic setup.

Yep nothing trick just air up the cylinder if the head is still on and get to it.
