These barrels are getting harder to come by in my neck of the woods! They used to be plentiful, but now I guess everybody wants one.:)

I have a barrel like that for my trash can but its for Schaefers Lubricants. It's the perfect size for a trash can.

I had 4 of them. Made good sawhorses and welding tables. Either the trash man or someone slowly grabed them all. The pinstriped one went first. Ive seen them in Jiffy lube dumpster areas. I was gunna ask for one but it was dented. Then they pissed me off so I dont go there anymore.

I sell to a few oil jobbers and asked one of the guys that comes in all the time about getting some 120# grease drums and he said not a problem howmany do you need.
So I took 2 not dent or beat up :bounce:

I painted one to sort of match my floor and be old school VW garage color

I can usually get them with just a couple of days notice at the local Valvoline Oil Change spot here in town. I have one in my garage and I've given three or four away.

Man, I've been looking for one of those old smaller barrels. They used to be behind every derelict gas station in the bad oarts of town, and now I can't find one at all. I want to do it in Gilmore colors to go with my garage. Anyone know a (cheap) source?
