Something with a sharp blade, named after something that hunts blood ?
No thanks, I have plenty of other tools in my shop I can bleed on. :lol_hitti

Sounds like the usual old school multi-tool scissors. I have an old vintage set in camping, but like any compromise tool it will have weak and strong points... Kitchen scissors are similar...

If the quality is anything like their screw extractor you will be happy with them.

I have a set of cutco super shears in the kitchen. The only weakness with them is the price. I'm looking for something decent to throw in my toolbox

sikeward,

If you zoom in on any of the bottom 3 pictures in the picture gallery on Vampire Tools website, you can make out the actual maker and model of the scissors: Engineer (made in Japan) PH-55. On Amazon, you can buy the scissors for $25 (instead of $31.97) from an Amazon partner or another seller: LINK.

I own the Engineer PH-51 (LINK) model and it is my favorite general pair of scissors. Very high quality!

I have the same "Engineer" pair as member dede2897234 and echo his satisfaction of the item. They are a convenient little work horse. Find myself using them on a regular basis for cutting plastic, cardboard, clothing, nylon, rubber and of course paper. Haven't tried them on leather yet. I have however used them to open boxes with their advertised tool feature.

They are bit expensive, but they are great at handling the quick power cuts you can't get from most scissors. They are a little cumbersome on the longer cardboard type cuts, because of their shorter cutting blades and compact style, but really shine on short yardage situations at the line of scrimmage...:wtf::rocketwho

I just got a pair in a combo kit with the Vampliers screw remover. Only used them for light-duty work so far, but they are a high-quality product IMO. The Vampliers are amazing too.

I didn't buy mine from Vampire Tools but bought a pair of the Engineers on impulse when ordering a bunch of other Japanese tools and they are actually quite good. Seems like I use them any time I am working on a project out in the garage, no complaints.
