Vantage Graphing Meter Version differences

I just bought an old Snap On mt2400 that is a version 3.0. After buying it I have seen some threads about newer versions being better but not any info on what has changed with the newer versions.

Does anyone have this info available?

I would imagine the database with the pin outs for component tests was regularly updated with fresh info whilst it was current.

That's not to say it's not useful anymore, if you have other tech info.

At the end of the day it's a generic bit of equipment.

As richfinn stated it is all about the database for guided hookups, if you know how to hook up you do not need the data base but if you are learning it help to have the info on hand.

I will tell you it is handy at a car to put in the info on the car and have the pin out locations for the sensor you are scoping. but with a diagram and some knowledge it is really not needed
