Vantage MT 2400

I am looking for the Data Floppy disk that runs on XP I have the connector cable and an XP computer but am missing a floppy disk. would Snapon bother selling a copy or does anyone have one; I would need the setup disk if it is separate. A friend had one, and gave me the cable, but may have tossed the disk. Given that I occasionally work on older cars, the data could be useful

Snap on quit supporting that older stuff many years ago. Ebay and patience is your best bet

I don't believe the MT 2400 Vantage uses a floppy disc.
The updates were done with Updated Memory Cards.
The last Version was the Sixth Edition, around 2001.
Are you looking for Snap — Link Software? "Software (EESP303A) a Windows based program, transfer any printable meter screen to your PC and also you to save images as bitmap files."

I think that is it but the data for that was on a floppy disc compatible with XP and no longer available online according to SnapOn

my friend had the disk but almost never used it as it mostly indicated hookup points (pictograms) for tests for different car models and not sure there was much data on diagnoses.

I actually have cards 7 & 8; 7 goes to 2003 and 8 goes from 2000 to 2005

If you're looking for a disc drive, Amazon has them. Copy the floppy data to a thumb drive for later use.

Snap-link was a disk program for putting MT2400 capture screens on a computer. For saving or emailing. There was no hook up points or anything else on it. AES had or has a program called WAVE that did the same thing but better. The hook up points are embedded in the version card that goes into the Vantage. I think the MT2500 had a program called glitch snitch. It was useless.

only used it a couple of times for tests, but don't really have space in single car garage; used to have a dbble garage and did lots; looking for a bigger space in order to set up a lot of things that I can't use: mig welder, air compressor parts washer etc.no ventilation where I am, so mostly storage. would also like to put in a maxjack lift. so lots on hold

actually got it on facebook locally and got the EV module in the midwest some time later would like to take a course and found a few u-tube videos on its operation; as I am retired, I only know a couple of people with that model but they don't have the complete unit.
