Hi all,
I'm in the beginning stages of planning a 40 x 60 pole barn build and I'm trying to figure out which it the better routs, build it my self with the local lumber yard materials or hire a known builder. Anybody have any input of Vap Construction, they're one of the few company's the at will build in my area of WY ( NW Wyoming that is). If you have any input on builder in this area let me know.

Thanks much.

howdy, I live in the south eastern part of Wyoming and I am also gathering bids for a 64x40. I have contacted VAP and they appear to be in the middle of the pack for pricing. They require you to unload the trucks, prob not a big deal. The big diff I have found is in the footings. Some guys only go 3 foot and that concerns me in WY. Have you tried BOCO? So far they have been the best price. Is there a Lester or Cleary rep up that way?

I dunno about the OP, but 76cruiser, look into cleary buildings. My dad had one put up in Guernsey and the whole process went very smoothly. Professional installers and the finished product turned out very nicely.

Duramacks Construction in Burns was in the middle of the pack price wise when I had mine built a couple years ago and built some very nice buildings I went and looked at. I wound up with Cleary in Ft. Collins, CO
