vapor barrier color

Probably doesn't matter but buying vapor barrier - 6 mil poly - for under t&g and gwb. Have usually used clear, but see black and white are readily available. Any reason to not use clear? I suppose white would make the work easier between vapor barrier and t&g/gwb.

there yellow blue and green too, but the color are to tell what permabality each have, some of the high dollar project require a permabailty rating, and the color of the tape must match the vapor barrier. red tape with yellow, blue with green. there a whole nother sciences on vapor barriers. some architects are bat **** crazy over it
