I'm about to put up my 50x50x14 pole barn.... it orgianlly was going to be spray foam but things changed as unexpected money was spent...

Now my plan is to use rigid r10 insulation on walls and blown in roof...

My question is this I'm finishing the garage with metal garage liners. My question is where and what do I use as a vapor barrier to stop condeststion? I could have double bubble under the roof steel but that wouldn't do much as I'm closing it off with the steel linrs screwed to the trusses.... how would you go about doing it....

You can see how Morton buildings does it on their website, there is a vid there somewhere mostly about their insulation system.

I tried to copy them as best I could, even buying the blanket fiberglass from them.

You can see some pics in my sig.

The whole concept behind a vapor barrier is to prevent warmer, humid indoor air migrating toward the colder exterior surfaces, where it would condense and cause problems, such as moisture-saturated insulation, damage to wood framing members, mold etc., so you want to install a vapor barrier as close to the finished wall or ceiling as possible.
