I need input from you smart guys. My garage is two cars deep. The 6 year old concrete section is in back and it is the newest floor. The front concrete at the garage door is the oldest from 1937. I'm going to contract to have the floors done in polyaspartic three layer coating. I know the new floor has a vapor barrier, but I doubt the the old has it. I have not done a vapor test. Has anyone out there experienced the same issue with an old floor getting a professional coating? What was your solution? :beer: Dennis

In order to help prevent any issue in the old section, it could be primed with a topside water vapor coating. These products create an extreme lock to the substrate helping to stem issues that common epoxies, urethanes and polyaspartics can't prevent.
