Hello all! I hope your Thanksgiving was great. I wasn't able to get out to my shop this long weekend, so I decided to look at all your work for inspiration. I'm really liking the VCT because I can replace tiles that need it, after welding or scratching issues, and I can do it myself in sections. I love the checker board look that I've seen so many of you have and I think that's the way I'm going. My problem, I had the shop built just about a year ago but I didn't know a few things. Like, when I had the 5" floor poured, I didn't lay any barrier under it. I did have 10" of good base material to replace the prairie top.....soil, if you want to call it that. So, in my midwestern area of Wyoming, I'm wondering if I need to worry about a vapor adhesive or would the Henry's stuff at Lowes work? It says 90% RH resistant but I don't know our local levels and there really isn't much of a market here for it. Mostly horse and tractor barns or just dirty slabs. Should I be concerned or is there something I can do to ensure the VCT will not debond in 5 or 10 years or so?
