Yeah,I been looking for a multi-speed attachment but the owners are usually VERY proud of them, outta my budget but I keep checking and posting up when I find them for the die-hards here

Keep an eye out for a 1960's Craftsman variable speed motor. 500 to 5000 RPM it's what I have on my Craftsman 150 drill press.

I hope no one gets overly excited about that vari-slo and blindly buys it without reading the description. It's missing one of the control arms. I suppose you could get crafty and fabricate a new one but... $205 seems really high for a part that will need rigging just to get it to work.

What's there looks a bit beat up too, IMO.

Oh well, I wish him luck.

wow. just wow.

I have a vari-slo on one of my DPs. If it wasn't for looking so cool perched up there, I don't know if I would bother having it.

All I can think is that maybe someone needed a piece and will turn the rest around? Just seems like a lot for an incomplete part -- considering they do pop up complete.

just my 2¢
