Has anyone actually used the epoxy adhesive when they laid their VCT?

From the long delay, I'd take that as a No!
As an architect, I have not come into any condition commercially where the 2-part epoxy adhesive was necessary. Mixing and then spreading really would be a pain. And then cleaning up the goops, dabs and oops wouldn't be easy either.
Call the manufacturer and ask for tech support to give advice if it would be recommended for your use or not.
