VCT and dirt

I am looking to do VCT tile on my garage floor this spring, but I have a dirt and rock driveway. At the road it's mostly modified and at the garage it's 2b stone. I do get dirt from the tires in the garage on rainy or snow days. Would this be an issue with the VCT tile? Would it scuff & scratch from the dirt and tires rolling over it? Wondering what others have encountered......

Undoubtedly would be a mess with lots of scuffing and scratching. VCT is a relatively soft surface tile. It all depends on how "nice" you want the floor to stay.
