Spent last weekend doing the first 1/4 of the shop floor in VCT. Have about another 1500sqft to go

I learned the hard way that the floor MUST be 65* before putting glue down

Nowhere on the label does it say anything about temperature. Took 18 hours for the glue to go clear and tacky. Of course the tiles also need to be warm or they wont stick and conform. Had to heat gun every single tile. Will be heating the shop up for a day or so before doing the rest

It isn't absolutely perfect and learned a lot. Will be much easier later

The floor is looking great. You will need to post some pics after you apply your sealer coats.

You are correct about the required installation temps. Even Armstrong's special S-515 glue which is designed to be freeze/thaw stable down to 10 degrees has a required minimum installation temperature buried down at the bottom of their installation tips in the TDS.

It states:

"Condition area to be installed, adhesive, and tile at 65° F (18° C) or above for 48 hours before, during, and for 48 hours after installation."

You would think they would do a better job of making this information more prevalent.

It has already been sealed and polished, but worked on the next day. This is in a fulltime repair shop so it won't look good very long lol
