I've decided on the usual Armstrong Classic Black/Classic White checkerboard flooring. Yes, I have no imagination.

My typical attached suburban garage floor is recessed 3 1/2" at the back and it drops off towards the door. My question is, what is everyone doing for the concrete sides? Rubber base?

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Jim, I thnk the classic B&W looks great when guys use 4 black tiles alternating 4 white tiles. Still classic but less busy. I think i'd use solid black rubber base unless you're painting the bottom of your walls gray, then I'd use matching gray.

I like the look of the checkerboard pattern when applied diagonally. And yes use the commercial grade black vinyl base molding.

Thanks for the info!

I love light grey/dark grey, but with my wall colors black/white is my only choice.
