VCT: Does it work OK for a garage with a heavy vehicle?

I've pretty well decided to go with VCT tile for for the floor in our new garage, but I have a question:

Is VCT an appropriate choice for a garage that stores a heavy vehicle? I've got an 8000lb Excursion, and I don't want to have to worry about turning the wheel when parked and ripping up a tile.

Thanks!!

Mark

I have a 7500lb truck. Rather than tile or expoxy I'm going to use a shake-on hardener.

I can't believe I started this thread three years ago... and still don't have my floor done... and still don't really have an answer to this question.

Will this tiles move under the weight of a heavy vehicle? Assume I use a good glue, but also that I've epoxied over the tile and included some anti-slip grit in that finish.

Ignore the radiant heat question in the title, as that has already been answered.

Thanks!

Pull in straightish and back out straightish... no reason to turn the wheels lock to lock while pulling in the garage is there?

I park my wife's Z28, and Yukon XL on mine. We did have one tile "pop" while the Z was parked on it. It was one of the first nights we parked on it, and I believe I had inadvertantly truned the wheel as I got out of the car. This left tension built up, between the tire, and the tile. The tire won.

Now when we park, we just try to be sure to be moving a little bit, when we turn the wheel.
