I know Fred from Alpha garage has indicated that you could coat VCT with an epoxy clear to eliminate the need for buffing and waxing. Has anyone done this yet? I am still torn about what to do with my garage floor. I like the look of the epoxy with a heavy chip coating but the prep work and install has me a bit concerned. I have no idea of the price of this tile but I thought a tile like this http://www.armstrong.com/commflooringna/product_details_toolbox_magnify.jsp?item_id=47414
with a coat of epoxy would give me the look I want with an easier install.

Thoughts?

I just put VCT in my single garage and epoxy in my 3 car detached garage. The VCT looks fantastic, I have sealed it and I can see that is will require some maintenance. I am very interested in the idea of putting a more permanent coating -- ???

I laid some vct about a 2 months ago and am very pleased, but I can definitely see the advantage of a permanent protective coating.
The stuff from Wolverine looks very good. I would like to hear more from someone that's used it as well.
