SEAL REMOVER AND INSTALLER SET FOR ALL GM AIR-CONDITIONED CARS

This looks kind of cool, but since I have no clue what kind of seals it's talking about, and I am supposed to be cleaning out this garage, does anyone know if this has any type of value to anyone, or is it just junk? Thanks!

(I couldn't find any info online for it, but i may not even know where to look lol)

Yes those tools are for front seal work on the old style 6 cylinder compressors used on G.M. cars and trucks until around 1979. Probably not much use any more.

Not being familiar with a particular specialty tool is nothing to be ashamed of. Hell there are lots of Ebay auctions for old KD, kent moore, miller, and Rotunda specialty tools that I have no clue as to what they're for. I also know that there are more than a few techs where the dealership they live at has gone from one brand to another but, the specialty tools for the old brand stayed in the back of the bottom drawer and they have been ther so long, that they're a little unsure what it's for. I knew a guy that had a bunch of VW tools from when their now Ford dealership sold VWs.:wtf:
Back to the tool you pictured, I remember from my school days when we had to replace compressor seals. That particular seal was made of ceramic material that would be ruined with contact with the oil from your fingertips. The tools were used to remove and install the seal so, you wouldn't touch it.
