to be clear i am trying to solve for the fear of mold , pollutants, etc that build up in a garage even if its envelope is optimzied with the right amount of engineering and insulation for proper air flow.

Agreed. Is this space incredibly air tight? Like fully spray foamed and a really well sealed garage door?

Short of that, ventilation isn't needed unless you have something specific you need to vent, like fumes

Solving for fear is essentially impossible. No product you can buy is going to be any better, or any worse, than any other.

My thinking is that unless there is something really unusual then a dehumidifier will do the job. Mold almost always starts because of dampness so keeping the garage atmosphere dry will negate that concern.

For garage storage they recommend 4-6 air changes hourly

Dehumidifier the better units have a A.H.A.M. rating. Box store unit usually don't have take rating unless they have one for a crawl space
