I'm planning a roughly 6' x 12' room in our new garage that will house a 60-80g compressor and boiler for a radiant heat system. I very concerned about compressor noise escaping into the neighborhood, so I'll be doing everything I can to make the room "soundproof".

That's all fine, but I'm at a loss as to how to allow air into and out of the room while still keeping it quiet. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Mark

Ayuh,.....

Basically,.. Sound waves travel best in straight lines,....
Soo,....
Putting kinks,+ turns into the venting will Cut the noise, considerably....

+1 all of our sound cabinets at work use baffles to zig zag back and forth for vents in them.
