Venting for a cnc plasma table

Anyone have any slick dyi ventilation tricks for running plasma tables and welders in the garage?...other than just leaving the big door open?

A water table (if you can swing it) will cut down on a lot of the smoke.

I was thinking of using a kitchen range with ducting going through a couple of regular air furnace filters..

The Torchmate we have at the shop we use a kitchen range hood and an extra blower on it and have it pumped out side. it's also a water table under it.
