Hello! I have a Nu-way propane stove (link at the end) for my deer blind, which is a metal flat roof (pitched a little) with about 3" over hang in the rear.
It calls to be vented out the roof, or out the side and above the roof (90 degree out then 90 degree up with a rain cap), to get carbon monoxide mitigated above the roof.
I was wondering considering my overhang is only a few inches and it's sealed if it would be fine to vent out and leave flat against the wall (think like a dryer vent on the side of your house) instead of having pipe sticking out. My blind is built with trees all above it and it's a legitimate concern branches could fall and smack the pipe damaging it, so a wall vent seems ideal (flush against the wall or the type that point downward)
If I did this is there any legitimate risk for monoxide to get back in the blind considering the short overhang and the fact that the blind is sealed and not open such as if it were to have soffit?
