Hello all. New member here. Recently bought my dream garage, and it happened to come with a house for my wife! Its a 40X30 uninsulated pole barn. I am about to have the under side of the roof sprayed with foam, and will be installing a Mr. Heater Big Maxx 80,000 BTU I recently acquired. I am thinking I should get the vent installed through the roof before the company comes to spray the foam. Probably easier to do it now, right? Am I correct in thinking I'll need some kind of fire stop or framing around the B vent so the spray foam doesn't contact it? Does anybody have any pictures of the way they did theirs? I know there are lots of posts on these units, which I am starting to pour through. Any advice is greatly appreciated though.

Yes, you would normally just need a firestop... but if you're going to add spray foam, you might want to use a wall thimble - what is the thickness of the foam?
