I bought a 20x24 November 2009.I got mine from a dealer manufacturer locally to save over retail. I used my existing driveway as well to cut cost. It took six months with helP here and there with delays like rain and snow. I'll post a link to the build as soon as I find it. In my opinion they make a great product.

edland38611: looking at your build, looks great. just what i was asking about,
i am south of Jackson,Ms. and talking to versatube about a 30x40 building but had never heard of them before.you found your own doors and such, how big of a difference for yourbuild was it? you had yours done locally, what dealer? having build it yourself how hard was it? pro's and con's anything you would have done different? what has your cost been up till now (estimate)
is this a pretty easy for a layman builder? i know these are a lot of questions but trying to make a decision.i am currently in Iraq but plan to build garage when get home after Thanksgiving. if you have any feedback email me at
[email protected] i sure would like to get your feedback on this

As far as the man door and 16 x 7 garage door it was just cheaper than buying new. You can adjust the garage framing to accept a larger man door or a small roll up door. i could have went with any door 6 x 9 or less on the side of the building. The garage door went up the same as it would a wood framed structure.mid south metal products in collierville, TN produced my building kit. The build wasnt hard but it took six months with winter rain, snow and people to help once in a while. Something I would have done differently if i had more money is id like 20 or 24 feet more depth. But to add on all you have to do is remove the back wall sheet metal and framing, order framing and sheetmetal to add length on then throw your endcap back on. I have more driveway behind the garage to do this when i get the funds. cost of the building to my home was 3800.00. Garage door, side door, stuff to run electrical and OSB for the inside Id say about 750.00. 4500.00 estimated in all. The instructions are easy to follow and its slip fit connections followed by screws. I never had a place to work out of the elements and even though its small it serves the purpose. Heres a link to the full construction of a versatube garage and to me it was as easy as it looks in the video. Versatube part one
