I don't know if I'll have any luck here on GJ, but thought it was worth asking...
I have a pretty major remodel going on at my home, and just had about 2700 lf of 1×6 STK cedar delivered today for soffits. I’m going to have another 1700 lf of clear cedar that will be delivered for the siding. I still have to pick out the stain, though it will likely be a Sikkens or Sherwin William’s product.
I will also have a few thousand SF of interior area to spray, and, and eventually the exterior brick that is. It is a lot of area to cover.
Can anyone suggest what type (or model) of sprayer would be best suited for these applications? I’m expecting to spend quite a bit – maybe $500-1500 on equipment; less is better, but not for headaches or sacrificing quality.
In an ideal world, this would also be a sprayer I could use for any wood working finishing, as well. There may not be a one-size fits all option, but would love to hear your thoughts. I do have a compressor and gravity feed harbor freight sprayer (unused), but don’t suspect it will cut it.
Usually I would research this type of a question for days before asking, though I’m a bit squeezed on time to get the equipment purchased and start staining, to be prepped in time for the contractor. So, thanks in advance for your insight!
