The only issue I could see is the compressor its self. If you were to remove it and mount it upright plumbed in to the tank I think you would be fineis it possible to install my vertical compressor on the horizontal side without problem?

I would guess that is NOT what the manufacturer intended.
When you see a compressor with a horizontal tank, the compressor portion is still on it vertically.
Does it have a manual or could you contact the manufacturer?

If it is an oil less compressor then I don't see what difference the orientation makes. If it is an oil lubricated compressor then it would make a difference.

That compressor pictured is an oil-less unit so yes you could run it on its side. If it has an oiled pump then no you cannot run it out of position without risking failure due to proper oiling.
A second thing to consider is draining the condensate out of the tank. You have to have the drain on the bottom to drain the tank and the supply line high on the the tank to keep from sucking the condensate out the supply port.

You want the drain to be at the bottom.
If it's not the tank will rust through where the water pools. I had that happen with a horizontal tank compressor that was not level.
If you want a horizontal compressor it's better to buy one.

For sure you would void any warranty if they knew. Just off the top of my head, I would't recommend it for several other reasons as well. Water drainage as mentioned, the method of compressor to tank mounting could be compromised and it may affect the automatic cut in/cut out operation. Just my opinion, your results may differ.
There have been some compressors that are intended for vertical or horizontal use. They are oil free models like this one. I'm not sure how they address condensate drain. I suspect for short periods of time it would be OK but not as a long term solution.
