Gentlemen I am a newbie to this Board. I have an Accessible Systems Tilter that I use for restoring cars. I am in in need of a USED vertical jack used on this piece of equipment. Would anyone have one to sell. Thanks Frank

Im assuming you mean a "Long Jack" or sometimes called a "Cherry Picker Jack". If you can be specific on working tonnage, Base style i can be of more assistance. If this isnt the type of jack your inquiring about get a pic or link.

Accessible Systems makes a Tilter that you can lay a car on its side. The jack hooks to the front wheel, and as you lift straight up the car will roll back toward you. I didn't buy the jack when I bought it and I'm just trying to locate a used one. Frank

Actually it shouldn't be that difficult to build one. I think that I could piece one together out of a couple of old engine cranes and a pair of engine stands.

Long jack is what you require, Your best bet is to go to a Farm and Home store or HF and pick one up. You can find 8 ton models for around the $50 dollar range on sale or with a coupon, and you get a warranty or you could buy a used on and possibly have to rebuild it. I still suggest the first option, Your next decision is whether to get a flat base or the pinned version. Stick with the 8 ton model, Normally they have a actual ucup on the ram where the 1-2 tons only use a Oring with a backup on the main ram.

The Assesibility system actually uses a Long jack instead of the come-along version in your pic. Well hell I dont know what he wants, It looks like the tilter in the pic uses a come-along but the rotissery uses a Long jack.

Do you mean the Floor jack required to lift the vehicle up to fasten the lift/tilt mechanism to the Axle studs?
