Thanks for everyone on help with the Modine HDS45. Have had it operation for a few weeks now and love it.

Did you use a concentric vent kit for the incoming air?

I am in the process of installing an HDS75 and am looking for ideas..

The incoming air is being pulled from the attic above the garage with the outgoing air being vented through the roof. I figured the additional airflow through the attic would be a good thing as it pulls the outside air in through the normal vents on the end of the house.

I have the same heater. I ran the intake straight out of the wall to a vinyl dryer vent hood and the exhaust up through the roof. The concentric vent kit wouldnt have worked well with the way my heater is mounted so I didnt bother using it. I love that heater !!
